John, @hckynut, are you using more than one device and/or more than one browser?
When we allow "auto-fill" to automagically fill in our username/password on websites, that comes from login credentials stored in the browser or the device (usually the browser).
That means if we have more than one account for any website -- which can happen with family members -- we might inadvertently log in to the wrong one. It's not necessarily something we would notice.
(That's a peril of using auto-fill -- we open the device or browser, navigate to a website, see the sign-in page already filled with username/email address and an encrypted password, and we use those without needing to be sure it's really the account we wanted to access.)
That's probably clear as mud.🙃😜 The post does look like your writing style, and I did a search and it matches your other previous posts about Cologuard, so although I understand your concern I'm thinking (as with @Trinity11's and @I am still oxox's posts) this might not be a hacking issue. Also, as @esmerelda, @Suziepeach, and @NickNack pointed out, it's a valid account used in the past by you and your wife.
(Of course, you always do have the option of asking the QVC Social Team to block that particular account so it cannot be used in the future -- QVCSocialTeam@qvc.com -- and they also could tell you what email address is associated with it.)
The questions would be were you at the forums this morning, 04-15-2020 02:32 AM, the time of that post and have you been using different devices or browsers?

That's just a typo, @Sage04. The account used today is "mrshckynut" -- I don't see a "mshckynut" listed in the user file.

Well, first of all @hckynut , I am glad to find out there isn't something wrong with your wife. The thread title had me a little concerned.
I have no idea how that could happen and I see others, including @dooBdoo are responding. She is a good one to help you figure out what happened. And maybe the moderators can assist in flguring out what happened.

@dooBdoo I thought about the same thing that you suggested. I´ve never heard of two people having the same user name. Usually it would tell you that that user name is taken. Is that correct?
I´m the only one who use my computer so all of my user names and password are saved.
I think what happened this morning was a mistake signing in on the wrong device.

@hckynut Update on the mysterious imposter's posting?

What's so odd, and a little entertaining, is someone going out of their way to impersonate someone else's wife--in order to talk about Cologard. It's such a niche crime.

@Sage04, On the old Community platform, the nicknames were case-sensitive. So, for example, the software would see "MinnieMouse" and "minniemouse" as 2 different names and would allow that to happen. When the new platform was launched in summer 2015, the software changed and from that time forward nicknames are not case-sensitive... but we sometimes see what look like duplicates from the old case-sensitive days. That can be confusing and it makes it appear that we could duplicate an existing nickname... but I'm pretty sure we can't.
You're right, now if we tried to change our name to one already in the user file we should see an alert that we can't choose that one. I haven't tried it, but I've seen reports from other posters about that happening.

@porcelain. It is looking like nobody did impersonate anyone's wife and hkynut just made a mistake.
That's a relief then. But I was kind of looking forward to my father in law popping up out of nowhere to talk about athletes foot spray or something similar. ![]()

That is just bizarre. It looks like the moderators here could figure out who was doing that.
Its creepy, honestly. People are so weird.
