There was a Mallomars sighting on Saturday, Stop & Shop two for $5. The best time to purchase them is the first week they are available ( usually in September) , they are on sale and then go up in price. If you don't know what they are they are a marshmallow cookie that sits on top of a graham cracker crust enrobed one chocolate. I bought two boxes.

My mother used to love them.  It's been years since I've had any and have not seen them in my local supermarket.

I've had many brands/types of cookies in my lifetime, but strange as it may seem, I never had a single one of these cookies.

Sad to say, it will be something I'll never have either. I got rid of my carb/sugar addiction and don't want it back.

It must taste like a S'more...used to love those.

When either my sister or I see the Mallomars for the first time in the Fall we send a pix to the other one announcing the return of a favorite! You beat us both. Thanks for the heads up.
