What ever it takes to like alcohol ,I was born without. I have never been able to stand the taste of it
I don't have any objection to drinking responsibly, I just can't understand how people are able to choke the stuff down. It tastes awful

I think that's something that doesn't even exist for most of now that we have Uber and Lyft. People I know (including hubby and me) don't take our cars if we know we are going to drink or even if we think we might drink. We just pull out the smart phone and order a car.

We're a one glass of wine or one drink couple. So neither. . .

I don't drink, and forget this part. Hope everyone has a safe holiday.
Merry Christmas to all!

It's great that so many people are responsible drinkers. I am a recovering alcholic and must admit that I was not responsible. I was very lucky not to receive a DUI. I enjoy family parties and friends so much more now that I am not drinking. I already bought my bottle of Martinelli's for Christmas!

When I drive myself, I take care of myself. I never have more than 1-2 drinks and drive.
When I’m not driving, the designated driver also does not drive if impaired - we sleep on the couch if need be. We’re having company for NYE and it’s understood they will stay the night if they feel they should. There’s no pressure to get home/drive home that night.
Of course, all of us are long past the partying age, and going out bar-hopping or pub-crawling is just not on the table as no one wants to.
With all the troubles and issues it has, thank heaven for Uber, and Lyft. It’s a very viable solution.

I drive myself, so there's not another driver. I will probably, but not necessarily, have a drink when I get to my sisters. I'll be there at least three hours and won't have another drink, so I'll be fine to drive home.

I am probably the drinker....but only a glass of wine or one cocktail
