Re: THE COMPOSURE OF ELIZABETH SMART

@MoJoV  The crazy guy will be in jail rest of his life--think he received 2 life sentences, but the woman involved Wanda Barzee was recently paroled.

Re: THE COMPOSURE OF ELIZABETH SMART

@Oznell  I agree with you, Elizabeth Smart's courage is inspiring.

I read one of her interviews from a few years ago. She said her faith and prayers got her through the ordeal.

In another interview she said: "I grew up in a family that instilled a very strong sense of faith in me...It was that faith and that knowledge of God that He would always love me that helped me survive the next 9 months and it continues to help me survive to this day...In my own life and in the countless other lives of survivors that I've spoken with, it has been the power of faith that has allowed us, not only to persevere, but to find true peace and happiness."

Re: THE COMPOSURE OF ELIZABETH SMART

Great quote from her, @cimeranrose !   That doesn't suprise me at all, that her faith pulled her through those hellish nine months, and has sustained her since.
