Well this thread was appropriate to find just after hitting the order button on-line for my two Thanksgiving pies from one of our local churches.  They have been baking them from scratch selling since the 1950's as a fundraiser.  No jello just pure scratch grandma ingredients.  So good and only one time per year.  Getting Buttermilk and Coconut for this year.  I can feel the cellulite growing right now just thinking of the pies.

What a great idea for a fundraiser @beckyb1012 !

....reminds me ....I had a great recipe from M Stewart for a cranberry relish .....lost it  - it is chopped cranberries, blood oranges, jalapeños ....gotta go look online!

That sounds delicious @MickD !

I've made a lot of fruit salsas over time, basically like that, but I didn't think of cranberry.

I can't handle jalapenos anymore so I substitute a little dried chili pepper flakes. I'll have to think about coming up with a cranberry version Smiley Happy

COUNTDOWN!

I think we're ready to go, although there's frequently something overlooked and needed for a recipe.

I got some basic cleaning done this morning and am about to put up a Thanksgiving tablecloth and centerpiece on the table.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Happy Thanksgiving @MaRina !

We each bought goodies we came across, from the TJoe's turkey stuffing chips to Kringles.  It sure isn't JUST the Thanksgiving dinner we have to worry about putting on the holiday pounds! Woman LOL
