Our winter has been mild for the most part so I am not wishing it away for the hot and humid weather I can't stand.  In my opinion stagnant hot and humid weather isn't healthy and I would never live in a climate which falls in that category.  But that is me and how I feel.  We all have our likes and dislikes and do what suits us.

Stay safe everyone, take nothing lightly or for granted with this virus.

I thought they looked at the spread of the virus throughout the global weather variances, and found the higher temps combined with higher humidity to show the lowest/slowest spread/most promise.

But is it because cold naturally makes us want to huddle together, and sticky heat makes us want to keep more of a distance...and not the way the virus itself reacts to heat & humidity?

Cold does not kill germs.  Back in the day when it was raining and snowing on the farm we prayed for the sun.  what you need is Sunny weather to keep the germs at bay.  I hate the heat, but right now we need it to help with this bad condition.

Cold weather is going to force people to be inside.  It may kill the outside germs, it's not killing the inside germs.

I'm grateful for the population density in NYC.  Because we're all on top of each other, we are more careful with our virus precautions.  Lol

I understand that to be true as well.  

It's a factor in the reason people get flu more in the winter.

It also could be the reason Singapore has not had a huge outbreak of coronavirus

Too hot & humid.    Virus doesn't travel as well in a hothouse environment.

Made it easy for the doctors to determine a family from China arrived for shopping, now 100s are infected.
