My sil is a nurse, she tells me that sometimes spider bites can present the symptoms I had. I'm about to vacuum the ceilings later, kid you not............

Hi Sydney, I didn't know you were ill, but glad to hear you're feeling better. This caught my interest...I've been getting bitten by something in my house every few days. A pest control guy came over three times already and can't figure it out. I don't feel when I'm getting bitten -- and they are nasty bites, worse than typical mosquito bites -- and my useful cat hasn't been able to spot anything yet. I put out all kinds of sticky traps, homemade brown sugar water traps {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes} and now the ultrasonic plug in type trap. I'd be interested to find out if your ailment was due to some kind of insect bite.

They wouldn't be bed bugs would they, puglet?

Oh, no. The pest control guy checked for that. Living in the city that was my first thought, but even I knew it wasn't the right pattern. I'm getting single bites at a time, maybe once a week, and I don't get them overnight while I'm sleeping, usually around dinner time. (yeah, I'M the dinner. {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes})

Sorry, not meaning to derail Sydney's thread ...

Hi Sydney! Glad you're improving. Oooo, spider bites: I was never afraid of spiders until that baseball player on the Phillies became quite ill after being bitten.
