I will probably be starting Sycamore Row tomorrow but I was just wondering, I read A Time to Kill many years ago and really don't remember much of it. Should I read it again before starting this new one, it is really necessary in order to follow Sycamore Row. You advice please and thanks.

I'm not sure I want to read Sycamore Row as I have heard too many bad reviews about it not being good at all.

So much to read, so little time.

Loved Sycamore Row, I had just watched A Time to Kill, before starting the book. I do think that A Time to Kill is better but I enoyed Sycamore Row very much.

I too read A Time To Kill when it came out, and don't remember too much of it. (Seems that happens more and more as I get older and older!)

I started reading Sycamore Road and am really enjoying, so, no, I don't think its necessary to re-read the 1st book.

Just finished Sycamore Row and really liked it a lot. Read a Time to Kill long ago and couldn't remember much about it. Didn't impact reading this book at all.

I am half way through Sycamore Row right now and I can't even remember if I read Time To Kill. I don't think you need to have read it. I am enjoying Sycamore Row though and will probably finish it soon, it's one of those books that keep me reading.

Before SR, I just finished The Book Thief. If you haven't read that, please do so. I don't want to see the movie, I think something will be lost in the translation to the screen.
