@River Song wrote:I remember seeing her sportswear line in department stores. She's been designing clothes for a long time. I first purchased her clothing on QVC to wear to work. It was woven silky polyester, no stretch or spandex in the fabric. Can't remember what she called the line for the life of me. Pants, tank top and soft jacket was my work attire. This was way before she introduced liquid knit.
Anyway, her line has really improved from her early Q days with improved fit and better fabrics. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of her designs that don't appeal to me or I have no need for with my present lifestyle. She is prolific and there is something for everybody in her line. She's always positive and enthusiastic and you can tell that she loves what she does. Honestly, I don't know where she gets the energy to design as much as she does, even with a team behind her, at her age. It's impressive.
BTW, her swimsuits are really nice, great fit, flattering designs. She also excels at blazers and jackets.
@River Song. I believe her original fabric was Peachskin. It raveled badly ans seams pulled out.

Personally I do not like the fit of her pants but I have had good luck with several tops and jackets. She is enthusiastic for sure but I like her personality.

I hate how she always acts so surprised when they give the price. "I can't believe that." " I can't imagine how they did that." "Oh I didn't even realize that." There is no need for her to comment, her clothes are never underpriced.

Susan defies time! She's simply amazing at any age .
and yes, I buy and wear her clothes.

I agree that Susan deserves credit for the hard work, effort, and taking pride in what she offers.
I'm not a print wearer or a LK lover, so I haven't bought a lot. I have about a ten year old "Cashmoozie" set that I love, wear at least once a winter, and will never throw away. It looks like a Barefoot Dreams set and haven't seen her make another since.
Susan looks like she works hard to look nice in her fashions.

Yes, it was peach skin. Thank you. I googled it and found an item number for the elastic waist pants, A39944, 100% woven polyester, silky-satin finish. Interestingly, made in Hong Kong. That stuff wore like iron for me, never had it unravel. Lots of big shirts, too, but that was the style in the 90's. She also did a Totables line that was a crinkle poly fabric but I don't remember buying any of that.

I really like Susan's fashions. I rely on liquid knit for soft suiting, and I have a wardrobe full of her liquid knit jackets. I've even ordered jacket sets just to get the jackets, which I wear with black dresses or pants.
Her summer dresses work for me too. I dress a little more casually in the summer and I wear dresses with those favorite coordinating jackets.
I like the detail she gives us too, especially when she is paired with a host who respects her designs and lets her talk! ![]()
