There are a large number of social media sites where QVC is discussed openly and freely outside of corporate control.

In addition to the mentioned Proboards forums, there are non-QVC regulated Facebook sites, Reddit has several which are quite freewheeling,  the Primetimer posters have moved on to a new home which has become quite active, the unmoderated Homeshoppingista Blog......

QVC is discussed throughout the internet and there is little that they can do about it.

I have absolutely no doubt that the recent survey was the first step in eliminating these forums.  The questions were very pointed and direct as to the value.

yes, the various sites out there are like the wild wild west, q has no control over those.

a forum on their own site is a whole different animal.  if i go to a business website i expect validity and accurate information.  not the wild wild west.

the cost of actually getting a consumer to click onto and explore a businesses site is spendy.  they move on without buying or with a negative perception is a lose lose.

the ugliness here can adversely affect q and us all.

Ok Ladies and Gentlemen I just asked my husband if he thinks the Q will close the forum. These are his exact words and I’ll just say he’s been told by many that he’s a genius. 😁

@RescueLover

Well I sure hope the forum doesn't go away.  The funny thing is, I've been a QVC customer since the 90s and I never even knew about this forum until several months ago!  Since finding it, I've made a lot of friends and really enjoy talking Qshop so to speak.šŸ’

@cheriere I also found the forum a few months ago. A friend of mine mentioned she was reading posts about a TSV and I remember asking her how she did that. So when a TSV came up that I was interested in I looked for the forum. I’ve been hooked ever since! 🄰

If I miss the TSV at midnight, this is ALWAYS where I come to find out what it is.

By the way, I'm so glad both you and I discovered this place.  You've been such a good friend, thank you.🌸
