Surgery Recovery Question

I just heard that a former co-worker of mine will be undergoing a hysterectomy next week. I would like to send flowers, but am not sure of where to send them, hospital or residence. How long is the patient's standard hospital stay after this type of procedure? Any info will be appreciated. DEEP
