Superstitious?

Because of it being Friday the 13th, I thought how many of you are. There are so many ways that this word can be interpreted. My grandmother was from Europe and really believed in not walking under a ladder, the black cat thing, etc. she also cut a piece of my hair off and put it into a trunk of a tree to make my asthma go away. Do you have any from family or yourself?
