We actually broke the record here yesterday...got up to 63. Today is back to normal with temps in the 30's and gray skies. One bad side to the warm weather...the lakes are nowhere near frozen which means we could be pounded with snow at any time if we get some significant cold weather. Winter is far from over here and I am guessing mother nature is going to pay us back for this nice stretch.

Hello ~ It's 62 and sunny here in South Central PA. I have the windows open to air out the house. Hubby will say he is cold. But he has an old Snow Suit from MN that he can put on if need be. ![]()
Last night we had high winds, and rain coming down sideways. I did not expect such a nice day today after that. ![]()

In Seattle..... our FIRST storm of the fall winter on its way... freezing temps and snow on tap through next week starting tonight( Sunday). We are not snow people and just one inch of snow shuts down the schools and the streets.... we are wimps here....
We have had a very mild fall and start to winter so it will be interesting to see a storm after so long of it being mild and temperate.
I have my generac home generator I installed last fall and it is on standby for any power outages...... not looking forward to no power, but at least I will have lights and refrigerators working and can cook after all the years of suffering with no lights or power.....
. We have two wood fire place inserts for heat and can use 1000 watt heaters for warmth with the generator...

Wow how nice for you
We are on the coast in SW Oregon, enduring back to back showers and wind for the past week, with temps in the 40's. We have a forecast of two more weeks of rain! Occassionally we can see what locals call "blue holes" which are a temporary tease of blue sky far above the heavy darker clouds. For us, weather in the 60's is prime heat in late August for our two week summer! Lucky you, enjoy your gift!
