When you feel anger, allow yourself no more than 5 minutes because after
that, anger is self-indulging and turns quickly to hatred and rage. Lord,
You
are a forgiving God. Heal my hurts.

Scripture for the day:

"Jesus said to Thomas, 'Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed
are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.'" ~John 20:29

Meditation for the day:

It is not possible for us to fully understand the universe. The simple fact
is that we cannot even define space or time. They are both boundless, in
spite of all we can do to try to limit them. We can never know all things,
nor are we made to know them. Much of our lives must be taken on faith.

Prayer for the day:

I pray that my faith may be based on my own experience of the power of God
in my life. I pray that I may know this one thing above all else.

Hello my friends! Today was a surprise blessing day. It was going to be an
ordinary Saturday for me with him working, until Lori called and said she's
picking me up to take her to her place, Sammy too, help her decorate, and I
didn't do much there, but I was there and we had a good time, even played a
game of Scrabble - old fashioned Scrabble Board. Then she gets a call -
from her Uncle Ron's cell phone - scared her, cuz her first thought was that
he had another stroke - but no, it was an old friend of hers, who found
Ron's cell phone on the Church grounds and picked it up so it wouldn't be
driven over, looked in it to see if there was any one to call like home,
wife but what he did find was Lori's name, and he said to his wife, now
here's someone I know, so he called her, and we met Ron and Val after Mass -
told them we know about his cell and who has it and we are to meet up with
him, and we did, Ron got his cell back, Lori and this guy talked about old
times when they used to party together, and she invited Ron and Val over to
her house and they came, Linus came there too after work, and we all had a
nice visit - and a drink - and Ronnie told all about how his stroke
happened, found out that if he would have been on any drugs at all, they
couldn't have given him that clot buster shot at all - he was very lucky
that it stopped the stroke and that he's doing fine now except that he fell
off the deer stand because a step gave way, and fell 12 feet and cracked a
lower vertebra - and he's so sore! Poor guy. We had a nice visit anyway -
he's always a lot of fun!! Praise God for people like Jason who found the
cell phone and made sure he got it back to the right owner, Thanks be to
God for honest people and for daughters who want to spend time with their
mothers. Praying for all for your needs and thanks for your prayers for us.

The Lord is My Shepherd

Lord, we are Your people, the sheep of Your flock.
Heal the sheep who are wounded,
touch the sheep who are in pain,
clean the sheep who are soiled,
warm the lambs who are cold.
Help us to know the Father's love
through Jesus the Shepherd and through His Holy Spirit.
Help us to lift up that love, and show it all over this land.
Help us to build love on justice and justice on love.
Help us to believe mightily, hope joyfully, love divinely.
Renew us that we may renew the face of the earth.
Amen.

Dialogue with Christ: Lord, many times I have entered Church distractedly
and forgotten that you were present. I beg your forgiveness. I ask to be a
zealous witness of your love, and I promise to show you greater reverence in
the Blessed Sacrament.

Resolution: I will live the Mass this Sunday with a special reverence.
