Well, another funny Sunday School practice today for Tomorrow's Christmas program. Just about my favorite part of the season.

Once again the little battery operated candles were the source of silent giggles for me. They were not supposed to "light" them but of course some of them did anyway. There was the little girl who stuck her lit one under her red shirt for a lovely glow; the little boy who found his useful for a unicorn style horn. Oh yes, and the really resourceful little boy who found it great for holding up with two fingers and letting it swing back and forth to aid in self-hypnosis.

This in addition to the usual runny noses and "I want mommy!" Oh and the Vicar and music director's (they are married) child who can barely walk and really wanted to be part of the action. Going through the motions with the class for "Away in a Manger" and held in mommy and daddy's arms as they tried to keep her happy.

I can't wait for tomorrow and see what they do during the real thing when they are all dressed up in their finest!
