On the news today they were talking about the summer solstice......what is this "summer" they speak of?  Where I live the four seasons we have are:

Fall

Winter

Rain

Humid

In Michigan we mostly have two seasons - winter and road construction.

The few minutes of spring and fall that we have are usually magnificient, but this spring has been an soggy, cloudy, cold mess.

In Wisconsin we have long Winters, nice Fall, and this Spring was a soggy rainy mess, and no Summer to speak of yet anyway. Usually our Summers are July and August for the most part and 1/2 of September......

I heard someone say today is the longest day of the year....

The last two days have been horrid and it is only June.  Today a supposed to be only 95.  I walked out the front door this morning and my sunglasses immediately fogged up.  Means today is not only still hot but humid hot.  I love to see the Summer Solstice come so we can head back toward the Winter Solstice.

Summer solstice is one of my favorite days; hours of daylight start to shorten again.  Seventy-one days until fall.

After several days of constant rain and humidity, today is sunny dry and cooler. It’s a good thing because I’m growing Moss. 🤣🌞
