Updating would need to start with bringing in fresher merchandise and more current fashion and competitive shipping rates. Don't expect any of it will take place.

I see this suggestion frequently. What is it that people would like to see?

How abt no Hosts , just have the vendors/ designers showcase their wares ,
How abt hiring a real Chef for cookware shows.
A younger good looking Chef who can share receipes while really cooking .
Offer free shipping or free returns
You don't quite have your facts straight. Aaron McCargo Jr IS a real chef.
So is Geof Zarkarian, Alex G and many more that regularly appear.
Are you seriously saying you have to be YOUNG AND GOOD LOOKING to be a Chef on TV?
Your looks and age should have NOTHING to do with your qualifications for a position!!
What a silly ageist statement!!!!

I like having the hosts (at least the ones I watch), but I don't see the need for 2 hosts so I choose not to watch those programs.

QVC is selling to huge masses of different people and different products. Not to just one person that wants to see just what they want.

@jonbon I guess the runway looks which, btw, nobody here could pull off. LOL

Having only the vendors presenting products would not work out-vendors have other commitments and scheduling would be a logistical nightmare.
At least having Q hosts on hand guarantees that the show would go on.
I'm SMH at the "younger good-looking chef" comment.

@Kachina624 I agree that most (OK, all) of the vendor shows are boring, but I don't think it's a fair comparison.
The vendors are set up on their own in what is usually their living room or kitchen, with one camera in a static position the entire time. No one, no host or even an Oscar winning actor could provide much enthusiasm or interest after just 15 minutes in that setting.
My suggestion: if management sticks with QVC 2 live programming, then make it truly worth watching! Get rid of the other two repeat-only channels, and invest more in QVC 2.
Hosts or not, make that channel more professional and not like I'm back in 1996 watching anyone with a product and a tripod come on camera. Provide a real set for the vendors that can travel in; give them a full crew and a much better camera set-up.

My suggestions:
1. Free shippping or shopping cart approach like Zulily.
2. More products per show or hour so hosts don't have to babble about nothing. I don't care about personal life or whatever comes in their head to take up time.
3. More information about products
4. Perhaps take a few questions from the shoppers online (got to vet them first).
5. Lower price points. Some are over the top ridiculous and if I am interested I can go to Walmart or Amazon or Blair or......

@skatting44 Obviously QVC2 is what you enjoy. So nice that you don't have to watch QVC then. Some people enjoy laughter, some not so much.
