Have a few suggestions that would be more productive and enjoyable for customers .
How abt no Hosts , just have the vendors/ designers showcase their wares ,
How abt hiring a real Chef for cookware shows.
A younger good looking Chef who can share receipes while really cooking .

Every time I see suggestions ... good or not very likely .... I wonder exactly what statistics they use to decide what gets on the air, and what they pass on.
Who, exactly, is QVC's target market?
What is the average age of their audience?
What market do they currently consider untapped?
Broken down by each calendar month .... what do they sell the most of?
What portion of their sales are on easy pay?
What do the get the most product requests for?
I can't even remember why, but I got the impression that a LOT of customers buy all their Christmas and holiday gifts on here because of easy pay. I could be wrong.

I must say, I find most, if not all, of the vendor only presentations to be deadly boring. It makes you realize what good acting and presentation skills the hosts have. The vendor who have the most experience and who you'd think would be the best, are awful.

I watch the QVC 2 when they have the vendors do the selling demonstration without Hosts. I prefer this type of selling on TV. None of that goofy talk or nonsense laughing

@Tinkrbl44 I'm sure Q upper management has all that information on a weekly if not daily basis. It sure would be fun to take a look at it. I'm sure, like the OP we all have suggestions that we would like to see. Good thought about Christmas.

@Kachina624 Totally agree. When I see the vendor only presentations, I'm out. The QVC hosts ask good questions and point out features the vendor doesn't bring to light, and they do it in an animated and interesting way.

Being a vendor does not mean you have the personality or camera presence needed to convince viewers to buy your product. Many Q customers are older, live alone, and have the channel on most of the day/ night for company. Hosts for the most part have been DJ's, actors, or have had other jobs in media or entertainment. They enjoy being in front of the camera; required if you want to be a good host.

There are some vendors that don't need a host Like Susan Graver. As a Q employee she could certainly add how many left etc. It's cringe worthy to see her with most hosts. Kim Gravelle is another. Erin with Diamonique is great and of course Kathy. There are others that with a bit of coaching would be fine. Others not at all! Just think, no more competition for talk time to say basically the same thing. I don't really care for two hosts and throw in a vendor and its too much. Just my opinion.

Two hosts at once turns into a cackle- fest. Q has done that and doesn't need it again. Ever.

A host is necessary to facilitate the show. The vendor would not only have to try and sell their product but would have to keep track of the timing and other duties to keep the program flowing and also provide some entertaining to break up the presentation; otherwise, the program would be nothing but a total commercial. and as @Kachina624 said, the show would be a total bore.
