Styling Topknots

For those of you style your pups with topknots, do you re-do them every day? Either way, what on earth do you do to keep them nice and keep their hair from tangling? I have a Yorkie who's a bit of a wild child and just can't/won't keep them in. As such, I typically have her cut with a visor. She'd much rather chase after things under a hedge (toads...bunnies) instead of being prissy and looking like my little angel. Basically, her halo dangles from her horns! {#emotions_dlg.devil2}

Just curious. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated. She's beautiful either way!
