We're actually having temps more like winter today, and I guess for a couple more.  It was in the teens overnight and is still in the 20s this morning.

Yesterday we got just a smidge of snow, although it was almost 40 degrees.  Nice to see, but I wish we got more.  Even the mountains don't get that much anymore and they depend on it, so I really wish it for them!  

We're only at 5,000 feet above sea level but we used to get a lot of snow every winter.

We had our first beautiful soft snowfall this morning...about 3"...and it is such a gorgeous Winter Wonderland out there right now...I love to walk in the snow, especially while it is still snowing, so I headed out to enjoy and met others along the way...I always feel like I've stepped into an ethereal existence...the silence and beauty of it all just surrounds me.

Now, I've been snapped back into the all-too-realistic reality of the sound of snowplows and soon the rain will be coming to turn my ethereal existence into a slushy mess!...lol
