I often search QVC new most mornings and today saw Valentines day things and a St Patrick Day item!

That's the next major holiday, so it makes sense to me.

When there's no more Christmas stuff left, that's what goes out.  No store can leave empty shelves and they can't do a major floor move to fill up the seasonal space they have.

Actually ..... it's great that the "world" is recognizing these holidays.

Whether the world realizes it or not - these are all Christian holy days.

@SharkE

Was in TJMaxx yesterday and they had quite a bit out.

Always up for a change of seasons but for me personally I just don't get Valentines decor.

@SharkE   I know right?  One of the hosts actually made mention of Valentines Day as a reason for ordering a heart motif sweater about a week ago lol

When it comes to buying for any holiday, I don't buy anything that isn't edible or  burnable.

I've decided that since I belong to a tiny segment of the world's population, what I do most likely doesn't much matter to many retailers.  Even here in the US where we're more likely to live well into senior years, those of us older than 76 make up a very small percent of the overall population.  Strange in a way because if we're already in that group, we may well survive to 100 or more.

I agree.  It is great in that everyone can and IMO should  feel free to enjoy holidays that have become national holidays.   The New Year celebration is another Christian holiday that morphed in to a world holiday.
