At least Jane talks...and in complete sentences. No umms, ahhs, amazing,amazing...as wells, here's the thing... Happy dance happy dance! I'll take Jane.

Yes, she's very good at talking down to the audience and callers - in complete sentences.

EDIT: My bad. It's JILL that's invariably condescending, not Jane. I think of them as one person because I don't enjoy watching either of them, but for different reasons. No harm in Jane, she's just not my cup of tea.

Jane has been at the Q for 30 years she is professional and dresses proper at all times her tone is upbeat and she is enthusiastic but always gives complete info about the product Jane is courteous to the vendors and is a gracious person she does not push her faith on us or order things for herself while on air nor does she adore herself in the monitor I enjoy watching Jane present items on the Q

Whenever a host goes into story-telling mode, I use the remote. If you want to sell me something, tell me all about the product and when you're finished with all the details, move on to the next item.

I find it irritating when they talk about family and yet cannot inform me of all the important information to help me make a purchase. It says to me, I don't want your business.

I really like Jane and will watch her any time she's hosting. There are many hosts who are impossible to watch for many reasons. I'll take Jane any day!

And IMO Jane is impossible to watch - or rather to listen to -  for the very reason stated above. She doesn't let anyone else get a word in edgewise.   And I don't give a darn about her family members. So her presentations are rude and boring to me.

Hosts telling me stories about their personal life - family, religion, home, holidays etc - will never convince me to buy an item!  All this personal information does not make me like the hosts any more or any less.  I just don't want to hear it! I only want to hear details about the product being sold!!!

Jane forgets she's a sales person, not our friend.  She would do better if she just did her job.  Here stories are boring, and don't help to sell products.  Information on the item is why we are listening!  In that area, she fails!
