Stimulus Check

According to the IRS web site, our stimulus check was  scheduled for mailing last week.  Never received the check, but got a letter mid-May stating "your economic payment has arrived."  No payment in that envelope.  We really paid no attention to this letter since our check was scheduled for June.  We got concerned and started to investigate.  The IRS site said it was suppose to be mailed mid-May.  If it wasn't received, fill out a form which we did.  I know it wasn't accidently thrown out as ALL mail is opened and looked at. Now we wait.  I'm interested in how many to whom this has this happened.

@coffee drinker It may not have been a check.  It might have been a debit card.  Is it possible that you opened it and thought it was a solicitation?
