The rain just keeps coming here in southern Mo. too.  It had been dry up until last Saturday and has rained every day since.  I hate to complain because I do not live in one of the flooded areas and so thankful for that.

Prayers for all of the people whose homes are flooded.  It's so sad for stray animals and wild life as well.

@ lucymo - did you see that young man who pulled that woman out of her sinking car in Louisiana?  She comes out and says "get my dog!"  He dives under and pulls out this sweet little dog - both of them were fine.  It was so frightening watching - but bless his heart, he didn't give up - I certainly hope he gets an award for his bravery!  There reallly are some wonderful people out there in the world!

@loveschocolate - Yup, we sure did!  Those downpours that started this didn't help much, but the full day of steady rain yesterday did.  I was surprised it was still raining this morning though, didn't they say it was supposed to stop last night?

My only complaint - getting my dogs to go out in it to do their business.  Biggest problem is my puppy who refuses to go out in the rain.  Even on the leash he resists, so I have to scoop him up and carry him out into the grass. Once his paws hit the ground, he goes thankfully.

We have been just having normal amounts of rain off and on for the third day here in Texas, but I love it.  August in Texas in the mid 70's wonderful.  Today about 80 and same through the week-end.  Will boast me up for the remaining weeks ahead.  I pray for the floods in LA. and other places.  We are blessed here this week in East Texas.

@hoosieroriginal. Yes, I did see that.  It sometimes takes a tragic event like this to see all the good people out there. Blessings to this wonderful young man.
