Oh Good Lord! It has been raining nonstop since Saturday - everything is coming up from the Gulf and is just sitting over Indiana. Yesterday a few tornados spawned off of it, one staying on the ground for around 65 miles - not much damage - barns, cornfields - no lightening or hail - just dropped out of the sky. Coverage was interesting - they sent out spotters and people all over were taking video or pictures of the tornado. This morning they had a picture taken from a drone as it was over cornfields - it was actuallly really cool video. As of Monday we had over 5.9 inches this month, and we are just adding to it. I feel for the people in Baton Rouge - they are such wonderful people in Louisiana and they all stick together and help each other. Goodness comes out of bad things. But I'm really ready for it to dry out for a few days! It is pouring and my backyard is a lake right now.

@KingstonsMom - If I could send you some, I would! We need pipelines criss-crossing the country that re-routes excess rain to areas that are in need.

The rain just keeps coming here in southern Mo. too. It had been dry up until last Saturday and has rained every day since. I hate to complain because I do not live in one of the flooded areas and so thankful for that.
Prayers for all of the people whose homes are flooded. It's so sad for stray animals and wild life as well.
