@Sweet_Serenity Didn't expect Steve Edwards to join the growing ranks....I expect there will be many more unfortunately. After Jullian and Dorothy left the Steve Edwards team, I stopped watching the show. There was a close camaraderie that existed as a result of working together for so long and the show never seemed the same after they left. This is sad news....Edwards has been married long term.

Wow! I haven't seen him in a long time. It just goes to show that we don't really know these people. I hope he did something more than touching somebody's back or waistline. Cause some of these accusations, IMO, are not worthy of being fired.

I don’t think men are being fired for touching someone’s back. I have not seen one outcry from men that their gestures were innocent.
Edited to to add that Gloria Allred suffers no fools.

Your comment caught me by surprise .... WHO got fired for touching someone's back? I don't recall any man getting the boot for that.
What accusations do you think were not worthy of being fired? IMO, when someone gets fired and it appears "one" woman registered a complaint, this could be one of many, and others just weren't made public.
What also comes to mind is that the legal team has reviewed their contract and the employer is well within their rights to let someone go.
Just my opinion .... and some speculation here.

Whoa, didn't see that one coming! I watch the show before 7am as I couldn't stand the women that coanchored with Steve. Now I definitely won't watch.

When I saw this on the news, the first thought that popped into my head was “well, of course!” He’s been a grotty sleazebag for years and that show was a load of sexual innuendo and tacky sleaze.
I watched Steve from his early days on LA news and always liked him. But once he got that show, it’s like he flushed himself. His physical appearance became like a skid row resident, almost every female that was hired was large-breasted and falling out of their clothes, with tight skirts and much booty in evidence. Lots of sexual innuendos and just sexist sleaze. I just assumed that sleeping with Steve was part of their job. AFAIC, his show, years ago, became the model for how to be blatantly disgusting. As a woman, I could not watch it.
I’m happy this has happened to him, frankly. He’s been asking for it for years. Ugh.
