Re: Stephen Collins interview on Friday Night.

I watched it - and my friend and I were texting as he was speaking. My comment to her - "gee, he's checked ALL the boxes, hasn't he"? He's a good man, threw in a little God and religion here and there, he's never done it again, and two of my favorites:

1) he's not a pedophile bc he's never done it again AND he doesn't meet the clinical diagnosis for one AND my all time favorite::

2) he thinks and feels for these women everyday (notice he didn't say "those girls") followed by the tears.

Throw in a little (I'm coming forward now because I want people to know what I didn't do to these girls) and I freely admit to what I say happened with these 3 and if any others come forward, they are lying.

I heard lots of counselor/shrink type "speak". Sorry, don't buy it and my guess is the bit about only happening 3 times is his way of diffusing what I suspect may mean we will hear other women coming forward. How many times do pedophiles say, "this is the first time, I swear"???

Re: Stephen Collins interview on Friday Night.

I watched the interview last night. He always could cry on camera couldn't he

There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you.

This totally surprised me. At least he admitted to it.

he's on tape admitting to it. he's not doing anything courageous. he's a pos that should be in jail.

I never said he was being ""courageous"". I also did not know the details about him admitting to it on tape.

Re: Stephen Collins interview on Friday Night.

He said he did the interview because his story was better than things floating around online. Why should he care what people online say about him? I'm not buying that.

So there's nothing that can be done legally to prosecute him?

The case in NY is supposedly still under investigation but I'm doubtful anything will happen to him.

Re: Stephen Collins interview on Friday Night.

I read the article about him in this week's People. He came across as very self-serving. Decided not to watch.

Sorry for him? He is sick and so is his wife. {#emotions_dlg.angry}

Amen. I feel a lot of things about/for him, but sorry isn't one of them.
