interesting article on sbnation.....

Although there's no way anybody can say the Patriots did or didn't do anything here, the list of piddly cheating-like things the Patriots have been accused of doing keeps growing. It's just funny to see this so soon after a summer of Patriots cheating controversy.

Only in the eyes of the losing teams....

Agreed, they are bigger and more popular than ever.  Still a 15 year wait list for season tickets.

Many teams have a waiting list, my friends have been on the Steelers waiting list since the 80's.

We do too but ours is the worst!  But in Pats case, people want to see Brady play

Just about the only way to get Steelers season tickets is to inherit them.

ravens tickets are tough to come by also......

we had our team, the colts, taken away from us and went many years without a football team to cheer on. we could not even keep our team name. when we got the ravens the fans were quick to jump on season tickets. they hold back 5000 tickets for each game and before the season begins they put them up for sale.......they ALL sold out in ten minutes. we have a lot of loyal fans right here also.......win or lose we back them.

have also been a fan of the chargers, but their team has a tough time sometimes selling out their tickets......especially when they are losing. the practically beg business to buy a block of tickets so that the game isnt blacked out. hard to believe in an area that has such great weather practically year round.

It isn't a joke -- it is a fact. People actually leave their Steelers season ticket seats in their wills. people in Pittsburgh bleed black & gold.Pirates, Steelers and penguins tickets - take your pick - they all sell out. I believe the Pirates hold back tickets for gate sale. People don't let go of Steelers tickets even when they aren't having a good season because that is rare, and once let go , you will never get them again.

No joke here either.  I received my father's season tickets for the Giants.  He was a loyal fan and whether they won or lost he was there.  When they built the new stadium, we were offered first choice, I think to purchase season tickets but they were too expensive and tho I have lived in NJ all of my life, I am not that loyal.  I just enjoy a good game.  The Steelers are always sentimental favorites from the days of Bradshaw, Mean Joe as are the Giants, Dolphins, SF and Green Bay.  Those teams never bear ill will and always popular.  Even tho season tickets are impossible, Giant single game tickets are easy to score because we are playing lousy...
