So, I got back from work around noon and went out for my usual lunchtime walk.

I was drenched by the time I got back and walked a little slower than usual.

Checked the temp and it's 98.  No wonder.

I am looking forward to some cooler days.

@QueenDanceALot The next dew days are going to be in the upper 80s.  It's been very pleasant the last few weeks.

It's still better than cold and snow. LOL

@Bri369

80's would be good.

Looks like it's mid 90's for the rest of the week here, then a little dip to the high 80's, then back to 90 next week.

But, yeah, it does beat the cold, dark winter.  At least most of the time!

@QueenDanceALot , the humidity gets to me when I'm walking outside.  I'd rather bike than walk in that weather.

It has been so hot here for days (triple digits).  Yesterday afternoon an unexpected storm blew in knocked out power downtown.  Walked 10 flights down since no working elevators to drive home with temps. in the mid 80's.  Wonderful rain and cooler weather.  Back up now to upper 90's but what a treat it was yesterday.

Sunny and breezy 84 degrees here in southern West Virginia.   Beautiful beautiful day, but we are very dry, and need rain.

It's 90 right now with a feels like temp. of 93.  But the humidity is only 44% so it really doesn't feel all that bad.  Right now. They are saying the humidity is supposed to increase though.

My bike's out of service right now, but biking's great.  Except for the lack of good bike lanes and trails around here (although they're WORKING on it - like for the last 20 years...).

A lot of driversaround here (and I'm sure in other places) act like they shouldn't have to share the road.  I don't feel as vulnerable on foot!

Yeah, the humidity is around the same here, but after about 2 miles in 98 degrees, it was still hot. And after 3 miles, I was dripping.   I've got the sweaty clothes to prove it.

Hi @QueenDanceALot

Not that hot here, but it is 85°/85% makes it feel like a sauna out there.  Had a pretty good rain/wind storm last night. When I took Lily out, there was a big branch laying across our whole driveway.

Got out my electric reciprocating saw and started to work. I'm guessing it was 4" diameter, which takes awhile with that type of saw. Cut it in 4 pieces so it was easier for me to move it. Spent over an hour doing that, whew, not easy work even for a much younger man!

Gonna head down stairs to my gym for some easy recumbent riding for maybe an hour, plus my regular other workout routine. Skating tomorrow so I don't overwork my legs the day before. Legs just getting over a pretty hard 2 hour Sunday skate. A month off of skating takes time for legs to adjust. Have never found any exercise that can exactly replicate ice or inline skating.

Hydrating up now in front of 1 of our big commercial floor fans. Try to stay cool now and take care,
