I should have read all the comments before replying.
Not really sure what age has to do with any of this, but carry on

You're absolutely right, Lucky Charm, and that's not cool. I know things that are said can't be unsaid, but I can apologize for my contribution to the nastiness. So, MGM, I apologize to you.
And to the rest of you reading this, and anyone who may feel they became involved because of something I posted, I hope you accept my apology as well. It was completely unnecessary and I will be more careful in the future.

Do people enshrine their used fast food paper cups?
I ask because this Starbucks ridiculousness almost causes me to wonder just how many people might have a home altar or shrine made up of disposal paper plates and cups?!
(And should I take down my crufixion altarpiece installation of Ronald McDonald in the role of Jesus now?).
Again, this whole issue is utter idiocy.
Its sooo idiotic that one almost wonders if Starbucks itself didn't pay the religious nutjob online to start this non-issue? After all, everyone suffers in this except Starbucks who, again, couldn't PAY for all this publicity. lol
Of course, religious fanaticism isn't so simple as to think they're all shills for mo'mochacchinos. Religious fanaticism is running rampant everywhere as its driven by things, ironically enough, by everything BUT genuinely religious things.
Racism, religious persecution and paper cup stupidity all seem to the chosen answers for many people who haven't a clue about who or what they themselves are all about or what life is all about.
For every moment spent on those things, those same moments allow those people to NOT doing something constructive or meaningful in this world.

Ah, Susie, all you did was snark back after someone started with you. It's nice of you to apologize ![]()

I have a daughter that I love more than life itself. She told me not too long ago that someone had treated her poorly and she retaliated in kind saying something kind of snotty. I told her that people shouldn't be allowed to take advantage of her, however, neither should she give someone else the power to make her act in a way that doesn't make her proud of her behavior. She agreed, and for her, it was a learning experience. For me, I know better. If I give her that advice, I should live by it as well.
Thank you all who accepted my apology. It means a lot.
