I’ve purchased one a few times. Most lately, for my friend whose son passed suddenly at age 44. It was greatly appreciated by all recipients. The star is symbolic & it doesn’t matter about the name.

@YouGoGirl1  Well, I for one had never heard of this before. I'm going to look into it to see if it's something I'd be interested in doing. Thank you for bringing it to light.

I also purchased one for a dear friend who lost her mother a couple of years ago.

And yes, we realize that we're not actually naming a star - It's symbolic and a way of saying "Your Loved One is a Forever Shining Star"

@LavernLuvsShoes - I was responding to the comments posted unthread stating it was “silly” & the stars are already named. I don’t think it’s silly & wouldn’t care much about the name of the star. Everyone I gave the star in its frame loved the gesture & symbolism behind it.

I know, my friend - I was just piggybacking on your comment. ♥
