Squeaky shoe. Help!

I bought a pair of Clark's sandals while we were out of town last summer. I wore them for a little while, and one of the sandals developed a terrible squeak. It's so loud that they're embarrassing to wear. I took them to our local Clark's store, but they were no help. These are not cheap sandals, and I can't afford just to get rid of them. Has anyone had the same problem? Do you think a shoe repair shop would help? Thanks.
