Spring House Cleaning?

Do any of you do "spring cleaning?" This time of year my mom would be getting ready to wash every window, take all the collectibles (she was an antique collector) off the shelves and hand wash them, and then proceed to wash down the walls. She cleaned regularly, but twice a year there was a major overhaul. I think of myself as a clean person, but I don't foresee myself washing my walls anytime soon. And there's still construction going on around our development, so there's no point in washing my windows now, right? {#emotions_dlg.unsure}
