@goldensrbest   I use glass spray bottles.  I don't remember which brand-I believe I bought them at the Container Store.

You can use any color; I have some in amber and some clear.  Just keep out of sunlight.

@goldensrbest   Also just a very light spritz up in the air will do but like anything else whether homemade or store bought away from your stove.

Not to saturate the air as you see in commecials where they use something like Febreze and they are spraying all over the room.

Just keep in mind the scent doesn't linger as long either because there are no chemicals to help it along.

You can also buy natural air fresheners if you do not want to make your own.

Mrs. Meyers uses essential oils and "other biodegradable ingredients".

Re: Spray air freshers

This one works really good and it's not too expensive either. This one here is their original scent but they also have others ones, too.

I have one in our bathrooms and one in the kitchen.  I use sparingly and have quite a collection.  What was I thinking.  I tend to store things away and forget I have them.

I'm not able to use sprays inside our house. DH has asthma and any aerosol use seems to aggravate it. I use the fan exhaust above the cooktop and usually have a candle burning in the breakfast room so those take care of any odors.
