I don't think there is anything wrong with the human body either. The human body is beautiful. However it is the manner in which the body is portrayed in this case that I don't care for plus I think it sends a bad message especially to young girls. That women are merely s*xual objects.

To be more specific I think the model would have been absolutely beautiful without the need to pull down her bottoms.

There is nothing wrong with the way her body is portrayed. It is suggestive but showing nothing.There is nothing wrong with suggestive either.

I don't think it sends a bad message to girls at all. If young girls parents are doing what they are supposed to be doing like parenting and instilling self esteem in their children by showing them they have more to offer to the men and the world than just looks then it isn't a problem.

Women are a lot of things, we are smart, funny, compassionate, nurturing, confident, honest and upfront, strong and independent, patient, selfless, hardworking and yes we are sexy and titillating too. We can be all those things. One isn't mutually exclusive of the other.

In an ideal world good parenting should solve all the problems created by such images that affect the impressionable minds of young girls and young women every day. Girls and young women are bombarded with these kinds of images every day and it affects their self image and self worth. I don't think anyone can deny that this is a problem. I will say again...it was not necessary to go that low. It was gratuitous. JMO.

Well, with my daughter I worked on the stuff that I had a possibility of changing. I know I can't change what the media puts out there to girls so I made sure I could give her the biggest edge by boosting her self esteem and making her a well rounded person who had more to offer than just her looks.

Again, I don't find it gratuitous and neither do many others. While I don't buy or subscribe to SI, I don't have a problem with it at all. It is good we all have choices and can voice our opinions.

No apology was necessary, we both were expressing opinions. I felt the need to mention the teenager since my best friend's husband said something to the fact about so much being exposed in public... Evidently her parents weren't around and kids can be kids without supervision.. Lord I don't want to say anything wrong but I am hoping you know what I meant. Any who, we are cool, irsh!

I don't see people walking around in public like that. I've seen skimpy bathing suits at resorts and beaches and pools, but not Disneyworld.

Have you seen people at Disneyworld walking around with just a bikini on?

About 6-7 years ago, I was at Disneyworld during Grad Days.

A few high school girls got on the boat between the Boardwalk and Epcot...in string bikinis and heels.

They looked very uncomfortable sitting on the plastic seats on the boat...and even more uncomfortable walking on the dock in high platforms!

Are you including the people who won't publish or purchase a photo like that without photoshopping it into an impossible, inhuman form? If the human body is nothing to be ashamed of (and I agree it isn't), I'd much rather be seeing an actual one. Because I absolutely don't think the human body is anything to be ashamed of
