@monicakm  I like facebook, but I'm extremely cautious about friend requests, what I share or copy, etc.... Have managed to keep in touch with many former co-workers, relatives, and people from my hometown.  Always use a fake birthday and hide it. 

 

A few years ago, I got so frustrated with cosmetic ads, that I changed my sex from femail to male. 

 

Now there is a way to disable Facebook monitoring when you browse to other websites.
