Re: Spenco Shoes

[ Edited ]

Just may have been the pair I bought and sent right back. It felt like I had a board strapped to the bottom of my foot. Flat with no arch support. But really cute. The malibu floral.

I find the footbed comfortable.  It's more gentle than Vionics.  However, I find they are so wide, I can scarcely keep them on my medium width feet.  They are not well made and only last me one short season before they look very shabby.

@nana59  I have  3 pair of Spenco canvas slip-ons.  My feet bother me from my RA, and I absolutely have no foot pain when I wear them.

I find them to be comfortable. I have a few pairs. I just saw the TSV and will be getting a pair, not sure what color. I like the ones with some print! I am unlikely to wear anything other than sandals until fall, though, so I kind of wish this TSV was offered in September or later.

I wear these spenco slip ons every day as house slippers and have for over 10 plus years.  Very comfortable... good arch support...   one pair lasts for YEARS  and I can just throw into the washer  and air dry to clean them if I wish.

I keep seeing these and I’ve resisted buying a pair so far but it won’t surprise me if they find their way to me one of these days. I wear comfortable sandals around the house so these would probably fit right in.

I loved the look of the traditional canvas slides, bought 2 pair, but they just were not for me. Vionic does not work well for me either.

I can’t wear Vionics; my feet do not pronate and that is what Vionics are made to correct. I can wear Spencos. They are made differently. You might - or might not - be able to wear a different style.

I will say that Spencos felt a bit strange the first time I tried a pair on but that disappeared and my very picky feet like them.
