I wish I knew how to post a picture here that my Blink camera took.

It's the very large woodpecker that comes to eat my suet.

This one is chewing on my Blink camera.  It's so weird to see his large tonue, his eyes and hear the weird noises he makes.

I've managed to keep it on my phone for maybe 2 months now without accidentally deleting it.

When my daughter first came from Denver to help me with my back, she said, "I don't care for birds mom".

But after being here in Va she's in love with all of the birds that comes on my feeders.  She gets out my bird book and sees who is visiting today.

I made a major error though.  I had her go to the bird store to get seed.  She came out of there spending almost $200 on various bird stuff.  Ha!

@Pezzie -

What a wonderful photo you got!

We have 2 red tail hawks that like to hang out in our yard and the whole neighborhood a lot.We call one the neighborhood hawk who seems to like to hang out at different yards,visiting, resting, and checking out whats going on.

The other day, one just sat for a long time watching the grandkids play. He just seemed content until one little bird started making very loud protests, and then actually chased the hawk off!

I could watch them all day, but I do like them to go someplace else for breakfast lunch or dinner!

California Quail

The California Quail is California’s state bird and has had roles in several Walt Disney movies, including "Bambi."

It looks more like a Gambel's than California to me.
