If anyone owns a speed queen washer TR5 or TR7, could you give me your opinion.

I've read a lot of negative reviews about  the agitator not cleaning well.

I've also read good reviews.

Didn't realize  choosing a washer could be this difficult.

I haven't looked at reviews recently BUT in 2018 SQ changed the design of their washers & it was a complete faiil...dealers that sold the washers & customers who were extremely disappointed in their purchase left well deserved negative reviews & SQ changed back to their orginal design in 2019.

will be going on almost 3 years (in the fall) with my TR7. LOVE IT.....would purchase speed queen again in a heartbeat. we do a lot of heavy beach towels in it and the machine is quiet, efficient, and easy to use. i like that i can do a lot of adjustments on the settings, including the amount of water that goes in. also like that it has a 7 year warranty. i also have the matching dryer.

I  think I have the 5 it cleans OK

but 

f----- g Lid lock 

and the water only fills with the lid down, makes me nuts

and no soak cycle
