I called up a few weeks ago and bargained with them, but I have an older car, plus I use a little portable AUX radio in car because a lot of channels on my built-in Sirius have disappeared.

Well, call them and tell them you want the deal of 3 years/$99 and tell them you want to cancel if you cannot get that.    It took me all of 5 mins.  Got 3 years /$99, but now I think they offer that to anyone who calls and tries to cancel.  They are losing customers, a lot.   Once Howard Stern's contract is over, I think Sirius will be kind of done, too.    But be firm.  They will try to talk you into every other deal but keep saying you want to cancel if you can't get $3yrs/$99.
