Sarah McLaughlin - I Will Remember You

Reminds me of the horribly sad animal shelter commercials.

@threecees Oh I agree with you ,   Can't listen to either one especially Arms of an Angel which I used to love.  But once related to thise horrible., heartbreaking animal commercials I can't even listen to it.    Also Willie Nelsons You were Always on my mind, no way can I listen to that song any longer either now that I associate it it with sadness of those sweet dogs and cats .

One of the saddest songs ever .....I cry every New Year's Eve when it's played since I was a child.  It brings back memories of of those I love ,human and fur. Children😿

'Ave Maria' -- @Enufstuff   I'm crying right now. Seriously.

There is a (catholic) church just down the street, around the corner from us, easy walk to it. The chimes ring out on the hour and sometimes on the 1/2 hour. At high noon and at 6PM est daily, there will be a full song, psalm that will play and sometimes it is 'Ave Maria'. I'll hear it, most times I'll go outside to hear it more clearly. I'll sing or hum along and I choke up every time, every single time.

It is so beautiful.

Soooo many songs make me cry, some to the point that I can’t even listen to them. Here’s a few.

ALL religious/spiritual Christmas songs
Auld Lang Syne

Then there’s those that bring back memories, such as:

Time to Say Goodbye....Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman

A Sky Full Of Stars....Coldplay

Fields of Gold....Sting

Hold on my Heart.....Phil Collins and Genesis

And many more......

Dance With My Father is the #1 song that brings tears, since my dad died.  I have to turn the radio off when it comes on.  The same with The Christmas Shoes, since my mom passed away.+
