Jugs of Water, Check, Flashlights, Check.....

we are in the 4 to 8 inch range for snow today.  Inconvenient, yep, but can be plowed and will melt soon with temps rising Monday,

It is the wind they are calling for that may be our big problem. We lose power if a squirrel sneezes.

Our jugs of water for flushing are in the bathroom.  Have bottles for drinking and flashlights have fresh batteries.

Now I guess we wait and hope the power stays on, it is to feel like single digits with the wind.  Hoping this is Mother Nature's last major hurrah.

I think I'm a bit south of you and it's not started snowing here yet. I'm in the 3"-6" range with 20-30 mph wind with gusts to 50 mph. Second time I've rescheduled hair cut in the past 6 weeks due to the weather. Hope your power stays on. Be safe and hello to Petunia.

@catter70   Good morning.  You be safe also.  Petunia says hello to you. She just did a "Petunia 500" from one end of the house to the other meowing the whole time. I need that much energy, oy.

I'm with @catter70  in the 3-6" inch range. I think our plans are bust, too. The grandchildren will be racing, or would have raced their cars today that they made. Then we would have gone out to lunch.

I love how PPL sends out a message that they are ready for the storm! But yes, never hurts to be prepared.

Hope everyone has a lovely day in spite of weather! The robins were especially active this a.m.

I am in west central Florida, and we are biting our nails and hoping our plants will survive the Saturday night cold temps of mid 30's. Our garden centers are loaded with flowers. Hope spring breakers packed their long johns along with their swim suits.

@CrazyKittyLvr2   May be her last hurrah but not mine!!!  They predicted 2"-4" luckily instead we got only about 1/2". Ended around 10P when they also predicted to last until 3A or so. I call this lucking out. The last hurrah, I sure hope so!

VERY quickly changed from rain to snow about 8am here in PA. Expecting 3-6" but already it's accumulating fast! Wind is a concern as well with wet heavy snow. You can't see far out to drive! I'm hoping when I next have to drive this evening it's plowed!

For me the lack of water is worse than the lack of power ☹️

6 inches here and still snowing.  So beautiful.  25 degrees and windy.

Fireplace burning wood.

Love it.
