@aprileyes    I think everyone has their favorites, and those they don't care for. All that aside, selling on live TV is NOT an easy job, or for just anyone. It does take a gift to keep going, to carry on about items you don't like, Keeping the air filled with words in a coherent, manner.  Not fillers like er's  and umms.  Also it it's live TV, you could be ill, tired, having family issues..and you have to proceed without mistakes, no redos here.  If you say it, or do it, it's gonna be out there on you tube, lol.  I think the gift of gab ability is over 70% of the job, the rest is personality and appeal. Even if your outfit or hair is a mess, whatever...you have a few hours to fill non stop , sometimes without a bathroom break.

Are their true wages public knowledge?

They are a publicly traded company....but I have never seen positive proof of what their wages are other than speculation and gossip boards/sites.

Where is the actual verified list of their wages?

Is it given in the Corporate Reports?

Salaries are an HR issue and not public.

The internet says some start pretty low ($35k-ish) and can work up to $100k. They can earn bonuses and/or commissions too, which is where I think they earn their real money.

Many annual financial reports MIGHT show a combined total for salaries, benefits, commissions, bonuses, etc for all employees.

I also saw that some time ago but find it very hard to believe that starting salaries are that low not to mention their top salaries for hosts.  I wouldn't be surprised if their top earners are making several hundred k.  Many other employees of course are certainly making much less.

I have seen pictures of many of the hosts' homes and they all appear to be in the 2+million range.

@shoekitty  I agree with everything you mentioned.  It's not as easy as the average person would think.  You have to have a unique persaonality to do the job.  I know that i could never do it.
