I saw this commercial on tv a few minutes ago...and I thought it was a joke, but it's not.
My favorite part is the free pin/button you get when you order.

Is he as thin as the people in the commercial? Because, you know, that's what happens when you wrap everything you eat in bacon...you look healthy and lean.

Oh...I forgot to ask...does he wear the ""I love bacon bowl"" button?

So...you've benefited from the bacon bowl? Maybe it's not such a bad thing after all.
Still, it just kills me when these sorts of commercials (for junk food and other unhealthy stuff) show only thin people eating them.
Give me a break!! If you eat enough junk, you are probably not going to look like one of those models/actors for very long...that is, if you did to begin with.
What a ridiculous society we live in...many people seek to be "politically correct," but no one wants to admit that the underlying problem--for most overweight people--is that they take in too many calories and don't burn enough. That's the long and the short of it. It doesn't mean that people who take in too many calories are horrible people, it just means that they are fallible, just like people who are addicted to--or overindulge in--other substances. There is an underlying reason that drives people to seek comfort from food, just as there is an underlying reason that drives smokers to smoke or pill-poppers to pop pills...it is an escape from whatever demons haunt that person.
This is an age where plus-size barbie is considered PC, but having plus-sized people on a bacon-related commercial is frowned upon. What sort of nonsense are we confusing our kids and ourselves with???
