So really-where are the chickens-on the floor or the bed. And since they have little feet, no chicken legs on the floor.
@Cakers3 Apparently the chickens ticked someone off and they were thrown. LOL
@Laura14OMG
They do fly a big but not enough to hover over a chair.
I think the key here is the chair.

And if we are talking office chair, are each roller ball a "leg" or what? I think whoever thought this question up needs some lessons in specificity. ![]()

@Laura14 Right but if the bed was specified as having 4 legs and the chair was specified as having 4 legs there would be no riddle.
Unless human legs would not count. LOL
Just how high was the ceiling?? Even sitting a giraffe is very tall.
I'll stick with 10 legs. It is less stress. LOL

I say there are no 'legs on the floor'.
Furthermore, that must be a HUGE bed! ![]()

If this is "fun," we're in trouble.

Oops, I was wrong. In further reading it, I say there are 4 legs on the floor - the legs to the chair (?).

I think it's 10, too, but it's probably one of those trick questions I used to hate in school.
I mean, c'mon, how can you count something if it isn't a typical structure, or thing? It's probably one of those --- that's not fair questions
.

Speaking of big beds, a lot of us have those stabilizers underneath which is more than just the four corners on the ground and therefore more than four legs.
Do you see why I am still in therapy from math class in elementary school? This is worse than the two trains and three stations with five arrival times!

Porcelain's answer is correct. This reminds me of something from the show Idiotest.
