I don't know anything about starting a GoFundMe for her. does anyone know how? My heart aches for this poor woman.

I just checked and it is possible to start a GoFundMe for yourself. Evidently, many people do this when in tight situations.

Perhaps the best idea is what many posters advised and that is to go to resources in your city or town for help.

The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) provides planning and coordination of services and programs for older adults and their families, aiming to support independence and well-being. It offers a range of programs

If you go to that website there is a heading for "Housing". and another category titled "Help Pay for Housing". It listed different programs. There is also " Housing Counseling" The Housing Counseling is for home owners but hopefully there has to be someone that handles apartment residents.

I can't help but think your County has something similar.

PS - Recently a group wanted to build 52 apartments on a lot that had a single family home in our Township. The apartments were ONLY for low income senior ciitizens. We can't be the only Township in Pennsylvania that this group is looking to build. Maybe you can explore and find another apartment that would fit your income level.

Check in your area to see if there is United Christian Ministries. All the towns around me have some form and will help with crisis ministries, situations like this. Praying that you can resolve this.
