@feline groovy I'm sorry that you're going through this and I hope that the new year presents good things and comfort for you. You are strong and we're rooting for you 💗.  Have you called your local Health and Human Services Agency or the Department of Labor Rehabilitation? Both might have job, financial asisstance or housing information for you or they can point you in the right direction for help. I believe in you and I'm going to keep you in my thoughts and prayers as you navigate this stressful time with finances/housing.

@feline groovy - You said you haven't had friends for 20 years, but you have us. Online friends can be there for you too, and look at your thread- we may not all live in the same area, but we care about each other. You are a good person.

 I will be praying for you. As others have said, I recommend going to a church or synagogue. The priest, minister, or rabbi will give you help and advice. Please don't be afraid to go. We want to help others and we do in many ways.

Let us know how you are doing. (((HUGS)))

@feline groovy

I'm so sorry to hear that you are going through struggles.

What you are going through or your life is not "weird" it's just the circumstances that you're in.

It happens... not  everyone has family or friends for various reasons.

So please don't feel embarrassed or weird seeking help in your community like others have suggested.

Sending you hope, strength and hugs.Heart

We are here for you, please keep us updated.

@feline groovy   I have found over the years the Catholic Church, and Salvation Army have the best housing programs.  They even have legal advice, and can help people negotiate the system.  I know things have drastically changed last 2 years, everything has tightened. But the 2 sources I mentioned are pros at helping. I ran a food program for years, belonged to the Council of Churches in my city, so I would hear programs. They can get temporary housing, especially the Catholic Church, and the resources are enormous.  I am not Catholic, but have worked with them, and they are huge on helping others and  having social programs . They have hearts the size of space.  Lol

I am so sorry for your circumstances. I will send a prayer your way. Have you tried contacting your State Senator's office. Many times they may have solutions that would be available to your situation.

Have you tried getting Welfare? Applications can be completed online.

Can you find someone that could start a Go Fund Me account. Sometimes maybe a neighbor might be of assistance. I will keep you in my thoughts. Take care..
