Yes...when i order online to Macys or Kohls, or Amazon..i usually receive the item WITHIN the week....Macys especially is so fast.....i ordered a item for my daughter yesterday midday.....this morning i got an email saying the item has been shipped!!

Thank you for this. I was about to trade in my Ebates money for a Q gift card since they did away with Amazon but I'll hold off now.

You know, companies raised all their shipping charges several years ago when gas prices increased and they said they had to for costs. Now that the gas is back to being low, I don't get it.

That's probably why the s&h isn't showing on the items, they have to update them all to show the new s&h.

Well, with them raising their price and no discounts on multiple to the same address it will have to be a very special item that I cannot get anywhere else for me to purchase.

@Buck-i-Nana - I was just wondering this morning why an item I looked at didn't show any S&H charge. Guess I know why now!

I don't remember getting an email from QVC saying they're raising the rates. Like many others, I've cut down on what I order and quite often decide against something, once I've factored in S&H. In my state, S&H is taxable.

Thank you to the OP @KingstonsMom for bringing this to everyone's attention! So much for the Q saying that they rejigged the rates to make things more "affordable" for everyone. Then they did away with refunding the original S&H.

What next I wonder?

Well, I ordered the Beekman Boys travel bar soap set with a S&H of $6.99 from one of the "other" shopping channels and still haven't gotten it. Tomorrow will be two weeks from my order date. I always have gotten my items from the Q much faster. I don't order much from the Q anymore and I rarely order from the "other" shopping channel but everyone was raving about the Beekman Boys soaps I just had to try them. I hope I get them soon.

LOL! I just went to my wish list and clicked on one of the items (clothing). It came up with the price and "$3.00 S&H", then suddenly, in front of my eyes, the screen changed and the S&H disappeared! They must know people are checking.

let's see - oil price has been cut in half in last year or so; inflation remains low......... so they can't be the factors. don't know about minimum wage in the states where they pack and ship, but there has been upward pressure there. and maybe their postal /UPS contracts have an escalator in them for labor costs. with the economy so weak, i am surprised they are doing this. retail sales are not that hot at the present time.
