{#emotions_dlg.laugh} I love WalMart - go there weekly, if not more often.

Thanks for the reminder. We actually did buy a set of California Dusters from the Q years ago, red and purple. We have classic cars in the barn - 69 Camaro and 72 Chevy Cheyenne - there is one in each of them for car shows. Think I will have to do some stealing Cool

You can get the California Car Duster at Costco.

Thanks, ennui1, I should have said "and a lot of other places etc.{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Amazon, and most car specialty sites.

Btw, DO NOT WASH the California Car Duster. It's loaded with paraffin, and actually works better when it's dirty.

unlike hair!! Sorry, ennui, you probably don't know what I am talking about, but there was a "how often do you wash your hair" thread that went south big time...

Okay - I asked a question that someone had asked me and I didn't know the answer.

"why would someone go on a thread and turn it around and make it all about themselves???" I see it often here too. What is wrong with people that they have to do that??? If Joe Snow has a problem, then Jim Jones has to start talking all about HIS problems and poor Joe is left out in the cold and forgotten.....Wink

Because "Jim Jones" feels needy?

I'm learning to stay away from any thread about washing anything. They are bad for my blood pressure. Wink

ha!

to answer your question - one upmanship. Whether it is about troubles or good things that happen, someone always has to post something "more". I've seen it a lot here

I liken it to pulling a Penelope (google for it - SNL Penelope)
