I agree with the OP--most these people have way too much money and way too little sense------no values or morals just----MINEY. MONEY, MONEY and how to steal and cheat---gee--that sounds familiar------

  i guess i just don't see the attraction to the "thug life" and bad choices.  SMH

Nor had I, @haddon9 . But I'm glad now to have discovered who he was and just how beneficial he was to that whole community. The outpouring of sentiment alone proves that.

   Because we are a free society everyone is entitled to voice their opinions.Everyone then gets to decide for themselves which opinions are relevant to themselves.

  There are celebrities whose opinions I agree with as well as those I don’t. I tune out the ones I disagree with.

  I really don’t understand why people are outraged by people who disagree with them.The cost of freedom is the right to speak your truth. That means people are going to say things you may not necessarily agree with.That’s a price I don’t mind paying.

When I watch talking heads, even on my preferred TV news networks,I conclude that I know as much as they do. I read, I watch TV coverage, and I draw my own conclusions. Eventually, truth will prevail, and the extraneous noise will disappear. Meanwhile,  I shall fight with my husband over possession of the remote. He’d watch news 24/7 but I need to have a normal life.

They use their fame to tell us how we're supposed to think. Let them just stick to the jobs they're getting handsomely paid to do, and stop trying to influence their "adoring" public. JMHO.
